About the Role

Meadow Creek, a part of Meridian Behavioral Health, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor - LADC/ADC-T to join our team. As a key member of our collaborative culture, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform the 12 core functions of a counselor, ensuring high-quality care for our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the Minnesota Matrix Six Dimension and apply this knowledge in your work.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness, respecting the diverse backgrounds and values of our clients.
  • Assist clients in maintaining county or 3rd party payer mechanisms and communicate clinical criteria to payers for appropriate services.
  • Obtain authorization for funding and maintain professional licensure.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement the process of client care, adhering to established protocols.
  • Attend all staff in-services and meetings, staying informed and engaged with the team.
Requirements
  • Current Minnesota State Licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor or an ADC-T license is required.
