Therapist Opportunity at TSCO

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to join our team at Therapy Solutions Collective. This is a full-time opportunity in a school setting where you will have the chance to work with students and support the implementation of individualized program plans.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time opportunity in a school setting.
  • You will be responsible for implementing individualized program plans developed by the BCBA.
  • You will work closely with teachers and BCBA to ensure the successful implementation of program plans.
  • You will support classroom environments by modeling and teaching behavioral strategies to teachers and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized program plans developed by the BCBA, reviewing and consulting for necessary updates.
  • Assist teachers and BCBA in supervisory tasks as assigned.
  • Assist teachers in administering tests, evaluating, and modifying student work in the context of a lesson.
  • Support classroom environments by modeling and teaching behavioral strategies to teachers and staff.
  • Participate in crisis intervention efforts, including de-escalation strategies, and assist in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Contribute to the delivery of services outlined in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring alignment with behavioral goals.
  • Communicate regularly with school teams and, when appropriate, with families to support the generalization of skills across environments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Active CBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school, clinical, or similar setting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior support strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and maintain professionalism in various situations.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
