Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is a vital member of our radiology team, responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams. This role requires a strong foundation in medical sonography, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide clear instructions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Medical Sonography
  • One or more years of experience in general ultrasound, with echo experience preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible in ultrasound
  • BCLS required
