Job Summary

At Air Liquide, we are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Specialist to lead maintenance strategy and improvements for our Hydrogen business line. This role will support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs and policies, and be accountable for the performance of these programs in the plant, I/E department, and maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance activities to show compliance rates and mean time between failures
  • Work with planners to develop work scopes for TARs and secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance activities
  • Perform monthly Maximo audits for newly generated corrective work orders and provide sound technical solutions to the site I&E technicians
  • Lead all activities associated with Instrumentation for planned plant outages
  • Provide plant startup assistance/coverage and instill safety in others by being safety-minded
  • Communicate directly with Purchasing and National Warehouse regarding parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled Work Orders and TAR PM Orders
Requirements
  • 2-year technical degree or engineering degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Minimum 8 years I&E experience, plant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of the use of a computerized maintenance management system
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize work
  • Ability to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
