Job Description

Golden Touch Home Care Services - Addison is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a vital part of our care team, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

We strive to create a warm and supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Our caregivers work with clients across various settings, providing assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, and housekeeping. You will also be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medication (as prescribed), and collecting information about client conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily tasks, including personal hygiene and grooming
  • Perform basic health care services, including checking vital signs and administering prescription medication (if applicable)
  • Provide general light housekeeping and meal preparation assistance
  • Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed
  • Collect and report information on client conditions and treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a home health aide is preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • CPR (American Heart Association) Certification is a plus
  • Must pass a criminal background check and provide references
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction
  • Maintain exceptional personal hygiene
  • Demonstrate respect and compassion with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping practices
