Job Title: Prep Cook

Levitate is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality ingredients, signature dressings, and sauces for our restaurant's signature dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients, signature dressings, and sauces according to our signature recipes.
  • Assist with replenishment and execution of all menu items.
  • Work collaboratively with your fellow prep cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Cook ingredients to coincide with specified recipes.
  • Complete daily shift work checklist and ensure all job tasks are done satisfactorily.
  • Follow all food safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete weekly cleaning project work, as needed and directed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, communicate with MOD, follow directions, show up on time, and be a team player.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 1 year of prep experience.
  • Ability to manage and execute daily food service operations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • ServSafe Certification is highly recommended but not required.

  • Self-discipline, initiative, and an outgoing, pleasant, polite manner with a neat and clean appearance.
  • Must be able to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and respectful.
  • Must be a team player.
