Job Summary

InnovAge is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to our participants. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating participants with occupational therapy services, including creating treatment plans and implementing therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate participants to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop treatment plans to address those needs.
  • Implement occupational therapy programs to help participants achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Plans of Care for participants.
  • Document participant progress and maintain accurate records of occupational therapy services provided.
  • Participate in in-service programs and present in-service programs as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • National Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligible for National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registration with state in which practicing.
  • Requires state issued driver's license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
  • A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years' experience, preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of general occupational therapy experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
