CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville is a Level IV Trauma Center, providing 24 hour emergency and intensive care services for critically ill or injured patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, administering prescribed medications, and monitoring patient vital signs. You will also observe and maintain records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. In addition, you will participate as a primary nurse, associate nurse, or team member in the planning and implementing of patient care. You will direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic technique and procedures. You will offer leadership and direction to all support staff within the department. CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville is licensed for 69 beds and offers Emergency Services, Intensive Care, Medical Surgical Services, Obstetrics, Surgical Services, Critical Care, and Rehabilitation Services. The hospital has three operating rooms; eight same-day surgery rooms; two endoscopy rooms; an expanded recovery area; new cardiopulmonary service area and an expanded outpatient services wing. Women's Services includes nine birthing suites and a full service nursery, with access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Beeville, Texas is a small town with a local community college and small town hospitality.
