Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, and patient teaching services to patients with respiratory disorders.
  • Operate and maintain complex ventilators and other technical equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop plans to improve respiratory function.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in respiratory care and technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Care Degree from a Regionally Accredited, and CoARC certified RT program.
  • At least one year of experience in an Intensive Care or Critical Care Unit.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of WA and active CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
