Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Position

Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Labor and Delivery position. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in Virginia
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Labor and Delivery
  • Ability to interpret fetal monitors and provide high-risk antepartum care
  • Knowledge of active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, and other relevant skills
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
  • Fetal Monitor Certification
