Compassionate Hospice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intermountain Homecare & Hospice team, providing compassionate care to patients in their homes. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop specialized skills and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes, assisting with medical needs and managing chronic conditions.
- Develop specialized experience in areas such as wound care, medication management, and IV therapy.
- Work autonomously while receiving support from a collaborative healthcare team.
- Enjoy flexible shifts Monday through Friday business hours, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Competitive Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $41.16 - $62.55 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a generous benefits package that includes competitive pay rates, incentives, opportunities for professional development, and various insurance options.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN License in state of practice.
- Current BLS Certification for healthcare providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to transfer patients independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
Location:
This role is based in St George, Utah, and requires the ability to commute to the office at least twice daily to electronically transfer patient files or have other access to the Internet for electronically transferring patient files twice a day.
