**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the cook in food preparation, service, and clean-up, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Prepare and label nourishments according to center protocols, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods into dishes, and pour beverages as needed.
  • Follow production sheets and pre-preparation guidelines to ensure efficient and effective food service.

**Requirements**

  • Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety principles, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Prior experience in food service is preferred, with a background in long-term care a plus.
