Pharmacist Specialist

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the successful candidate will coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital. This will involve:

• Coordinating the activities of the pharmacy department to ensure seamless patient care
• Providing pharmaceutical care to patients in various settings, including general medicine, surgical, intensive care, and emergency services
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current state Registered Pharmacist License
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations, preferably in a leadership role
• A B.S. degree in Pharmacy, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
