Porter Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Porter/Janitorial professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

• Perform daily inspections of the building's interior and exterior spaces to identify areas for improvement
• Conduct general janitorial duties, including trash collection and disposal, restroom cleaning and stocking, and mopping and buffing of hard service floors
• Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers
• Assist with general building repairs, such as changing light bulbs and restocking consumables
• Provide cleaning services to clinical areas, following all related policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• 2-4 years of experience in janitorial services
• Background in cleaning in a clinical or healthcare environment preferred
• Clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and hand tools
