The Society for College and University Planning is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Assistant Director, Black Student Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in fostering student success and engagement, with a particular focus on supporting Black students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee student programs, services, and initiatives that promote academic success, leadership development, and community engagement.
  • Design and implement programs that support Black student retention, academic success, and professional growth.
  • Foster meaningful engagement opportunities through events, orientations, and campus activities.
  • Provide mentorship, advocacy, and direct student support to address challenges and connect students with critical resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of professional experience in student services or a related area.
  • Experience advising students individually and in groups on academic, career, and personal success.
  • Strong awareness of the cultural diversity of university communities and ability to develop inclusive programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital communication platforms, and student information systems.
