Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at University HealthCare Alliance. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning, immobilization, and contrast media administration
  • Maintain equipment, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Process and review images for quality and accuracy
  • Assist radiologists and other qualified physicians with diagnostic examinations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with at least 1 year of certification in a specialty area
  • Current CRT state license and/or certification in a recognized registry of specialty
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Superior patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
