Job Title: Teller - Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Teller to join our team at Farmers and Merchants State Bank. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer transactions, including cashing checks, making deposits, and processing withdrawals
  • Provide information on bank products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives as needed
  • Reconcile cash drawers, count and package coins and currency, and turn in excess or damaged currency to the head teller
  • Track, record, and report transactional information and special requests
  • Provide a high level of customer service, answering questions and assisting with a smile

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Cash-handling experience
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
  • Ability to pass a background check

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Notary Public Commission

Work Schedule:

This position is scheduled to work Monday - Saturday, with a day off and occasional extended hours as needed to accommodate the flow of business.
