Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

About the Job
  • The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic Long Term Acute Care unit, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
  • This is a travel nursing position, offering a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience and skills while exploring new locations.
Responsibilities
  1. Care for patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring extended medical care.
  2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  3. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and record and interpret electronic displays.
  4. Educate patients and family members on surgical processes and how to manage their illness or injury.
  5. Perform duties required of a registered nurse at all times, including starting IV's, drawing blood, and seeing patients from start to finish.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips

The estimated salary for this position is $1500-$2000 per week, which includes a tax-free stipend amount. This figure may vary based on individual circumstances.
