Full-time Class A CDL Yard Operators

Compensation:
  • Earn $25 per hour with overtime available after 40 hours

Work Schedule:
  • Home Daily

Your Responsibilities:
  • Maintain order in the yard and inspect trailers before loading
  • Move trailers in and out of the dock as instructed
  • Secure trailers as they are positioned for loading and unloading
  • Average 45 hours of work per week
  • Opportunity to take on additional shifts
  • Consistent home time

Work Hours:
  • Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday schedule
  • Start time at 8 am

Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL Class A license required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Minimum of 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years
  • Clean DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents in the past three years
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations and guidelines
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role
  • Must be able to work the required schedule and complete necessary employment applications, background checks, and drug screenings
  • This position is subject to Department of Transportation regulations, requiring a constant state of alertness and safe practices

  • Ability to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle.
