Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Learning Center Manager to lead our team at Mathnasium of University Irvine. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a successful, high-paced, fun learning environment for our students and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Assessments and Consultations

The Learning Center Manager will support our Center Manager in identifying students' areas of strength and discomfort, generating custom learning plans, discussing goals and solutions with parents and students, and assisting in the family enrollment process.

Developing and Maintaining Strong Parent Relationships

The Learning Center Manager will successfully communicate with parents regarding student progress, behaviors, and lessons, while being friendly and sociable with our families.

Developing and Training Instructional Staff

The Learning Center Manager will aid in the instructor hiring and training process, identify team strengths and weaknesses, and make proper adjustments.

Maintaining Center Expectations and Quality

The Learning Center Manager will hold team members accountable for their performance, ensure set expectations are met, and maintain a high-quality learning environment.

Measuring Center Performance through KPIs

The Learning Center Manager will analyze reports on center performance and help make the appropriate changes to improve our results.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 days per week availability, including weekends
  • An average of 35-40 hours per week
  • Able to pass an employment math assessment
Qualifications
  • Possess a passion for math and working with students
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Show ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, education, or a related field
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred
  • Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
  • Mandarin/Korean bilingualism preferred

Compensation Package

Our estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure includes the potential bonuses mentioned above.
