Assembly Technician

Job Title:
Production Assembler
As an Assembly Technician at Aerotek, you will engage in basic and repetitive assembly work. Your responsibilities will include interpreting drawings and assembly instructions, both verbal and written, and operating production machines to produce parts according to established standards.
You will properly use hand tools and identify any defects or flaws in produced parts, reporting them immediately to management. Additionally, you will prepare parts for painting and shipping, including gluing, taping, and cleaning.
Maintain a clean and safe environment and document production activities as requested. Perform related tasks such as counting, packaging, labeling, or bagging parts or raw materials for kitting.

Work Environment:
The production floor is partially complete and improving, with each assembler having their own workstation including tools and a microscope.
The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, soldering stations, solvents, and chemicals, with a moderate noise level.
