We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse, demonstrating positive behavior and the ability to implement a plan of care.
- Accurately complete assignments within scheduled time periods, ensuring timely and accurate completion of patient-related activities.
- Communicate pertinent patient information and actual or potential problems to the healthcare team, reporting timely and accurate changes in the patient's condition.
- Cooperate with reassignments in the interest of patient care, adapting work schedules to meet the needs of the unit and ensuring adequate staffing needs are met.
- Demonstrate the ability to care for patients by providing safe, direct patient care, following established standards and policies.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Experience in arterial duplex, ABI/PVR, carotid, venous, venous insufficiency, abdominal aorta, and renal ultrasounds.
- Ability to perform general sonography.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- A minimum of two (2) years of vascular ultrasound experience.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
- ARDMS-RVT certification or eligible to obtain.
