About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Nursing Faculty member to join our team at Arizona College of Nursing. As a Clinical Nursing Faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development
    • Develop and implement curriculum for nursing courses, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and industry standards.
    • Design and deliver engaging and effective teaching methods to facilitate student learning and achievement of course objectives.
  • Clinical Practice and Simulation
    • Facilitate students' application of theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical practice through simulation and clinical experiences.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners to ensure high-quality clinical experiences for students.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation
    • Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student learning and progress.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.
  • Program Evaluation and Improvement
    • Participate in program evaluation and improvement activities to ensure the program meets industry standards and accreditation requirements.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's or higher degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of three years of experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care.
    • Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licensure
    • Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location.
    • Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty is preferred.
