Unit Overview

The G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is a dynamic 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Our patients have a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis, and complex multi-system failure. As a caregiver on this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require a high level of care and attention.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients on the unit
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing and have one year of current acute care RN experience
