About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meat Team Leader to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
  • Direct and oversee daily operations of the meat department, including inventory management and scheduling
  • Provide motivational leadership and set high standards for performance
  • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to increase sales and reduce shrink
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a meat department
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
  • Avoidance of conflict and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
