Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and assisting with daily activities.
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, incorporating the patient's individualized plan of care.

Requirements:

  • CNA certification required.
  • One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
  • Successful completion of CPR certification and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 30 days of employment.
