Position Overview:
  • Deliver exceptional products and outstanding customer service while ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace. Collaborate with management to achieve and surpass sales and profitability targets by maintaining a well-stocked selection of decorated items that meet company standards. Approach all tasks with accountability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and implement cake decoration processes, including cakes, cookies, and specialty items.
  • Manage the entire cake decorating workflow from order initiation to ensuring timely customer pickup.
  • Design and embellish cakes according to customer specifications and themes.
  • Accurately measure and blend ingredients following established recipes.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and engage in suggestive selling techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain the shelf life and expiration of all decorated products to guarantee top-quality offerings.
  • Handle cake decorating tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely ordering of supplies.
  • Utilize all equipment, including cutters and refrigeration units, in accordance with company protocols.
  • Implement preventative maintenance practices.
  • Conduct accurate inventory management and stock replenishment for all products.
  • Adhere to all health and food safety regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that temperature controls in display cases and coolers are consistently monitored and documented.
  • Prepare, package, label, and manage inventory of ingredients.
  • Follow all safety protocols diligently.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Promptly report any safety hazards, concerns, or unlawful activities.
  • Address any discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
