We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical tasks and procedures as directed by licensed practitioners, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
- 6 months of healthcare experience, including 6 months of medical assisting experience.
- Preferred qualifications include national medical assistant certification.
