Support Our Team as a Veterinary Technician at Good Shepherd Animal Clinic

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Good Shepherd Animal Clinic.

Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • They will be responsible for supporting veterinarians during medical procedures, conducting laboratory tests, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Tasks:

  1. Medical Assistant: Assist veterinarians during surgeries, monitor anesthesia levels, and participate in diagnostic imaging.
  2. Lab Test Conductor: Conduct various laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to provide critical diagnostic information for veterinarians.
  3. Patient Caregiver: Provide post-operative care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and ensure the overall comfort and recovery of animals.
  4. Pet Owner Educator: Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.
