Cardiac Sonographer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a part-time basis, working 32 hours per week. This role will involve performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, setting up and adjusting cardiac imaging equipment, and implementing safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Set up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.

Requirements:

• Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• For new graduates, ARDMS desired and required after 2 years of employment. For experienced echo sonographer, ARDMS required.
