About the Role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Hospital Services Patient Care Technician to join our team at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and high-quality care for patients with end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure successful treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, documenting changes and informing the charge nurse of any concerns.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems, insert and remove patient access needles, and maintain professional working relationships.
  • Perform laboratory work and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
