Position Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly and testing of both basic and advanced electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis, and complete computer systems. This role requires proficiency in utilizing a variety of hand and power tools to ensure high-quality assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, and other hand/bench equipment to perform assembly tasks.
  • Work independently from assembly procedures, prints, and verbal or written instructions to construct computers, subassemblies, cable harnesses, and complete systems.
  • Communicate innovative ideas that contribute to process improvement, product quality, and enhanced work conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Proficient in basic computer operations.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in assembly.

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); one year of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
