Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at David Place. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal hygiene
  • Assist with medication administration, vital signs, and other clinical tasks as needed
  • Support residents with their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and mobility
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in educational sessions, in-service training, and demonstrations to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or willingness to obtain
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
  • Ability to work 16-40 hours per week, including day, evening, and night shifts
  • Availability to work every other weekend and holiday
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
