Director of Nursing

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Director to lead the Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) team in our Women's Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for operations, staffing, and development within the NICU department.
• Manage clinical operations with a focus on positive financial performance through enhanced utilization, scheduling, and deployment of staff.
• Coordinate women's and babies services across the organization to create the best patient experience.
• Develop and implement strategic program management, facilitation, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven years of related experience required.
• Five years of management experience required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
