Release and OTA Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Release and OTA Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our DevOps function, you will be responsible for driving the development of Ford's global Release & Update capability across millions of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver functioning code against the technical vision and strategy
- Develop world-class, low-latency, high-availability services that support internal engineering and millions of Ford customers
- Deliver functional capabilities aligned to timelines and roadmaps
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience and education
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, leveraging object-oriented languages, Java/Spring Framework, C++, or equivalent
- 3+ years of developing REST/Queue-based interfaces
- 3+ years of developing APIs using back-end technologies such as Go, Python
- 3+ years of working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, database design, and SQL Queries
- 3+ years of working with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS
- 3+ years of implementing front-end user interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in an associated field
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, Docker, Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of distributed microservice architectures
- Experience with various deployment pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Knowledge of trunk-based development practices
- Experience with the Open Application Model and Infra-As-Code
- Understanding of security best practices in web development
- SaaS development experience
- Demonstrated time in role working in a multi-disciplined organization focused on delivering development efficiency
- Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization to achieve desired results
