Position Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned General Manager to oversee our dispensary operations. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of over 20 employees, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a strong commitment to integrity and accountability in the cannabis sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Direct and inspire a team of 25-50 staff members.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily sales reporting and ensure compliance with company standards for customer service.
  • Performance Improvement: Analyze business indicators to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes.
  • Inventory Coordination: Manage inventory audits and collaborate with other departments on product assessments.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the Marketing Department to evaluate performance metrics and suggest future strategies.
  • Daily Operations: Supervise all aspects of store operations, including financial reporting and team management.
  • Employee Development: Provide insights for performance evaluations and oversee staff training and development.

Expectations:

  • Ensure adherence to all cannabis regulations and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Utilize management tools to assess financial performance and address operational issues.
  • Secure the facility and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Management Approach:

  • Lead with integrity and uphold the values of Mint Cannabis.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to promote communication and collaboration.
  • Manage staffing schedules and oversee the recruitment process in partnership with Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, 1 year in management, and preferably 1 year in the retail cannabis industry.
