Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized counseling and case management services.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and lead educational workshops on addiction recovery and mental health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in addiction recovery and mental health.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • California state certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor II & III.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in substance abuse treatment or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction recovery principles and practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
