Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will have the opportunity to carry out personal care tasks that aid clients with their daily living activities, which include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting clients with mobility and transferring them within their home
  • Performing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Preparing meals and snacks following specific guidelines
  • Accompanying clients on errands or to medical appointments
  • Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Offering medication reminders
  • Supporting clients with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Providing care for individuals with dementia
  • Engaging in companionship activities like reading, listening to music, and solving puzzles

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Must obtain BCI (Fingerprints)
  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
