We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a member of our education network, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs through virtual teaching and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide virtual instruction and support to students with special needs, both individually and in small groups.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Utilize virtual platforms effectively for delivering instruction and engaging students in virtual learning activities.
- Monitor student progress, assess their strengths and challenges, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other members of the education team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
This is a full-time position with a caseload of K-12 students with a range of disabilities within the school district. The position is fully remote, with a competitive compensation package and weekly pay.
Qualifications- Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Pennsylvania state certification in Special Education, or willingness to obtain before the start date.
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology for delivering remote instruction.
