Associate General Counsel, Real Estate Transactions and Litigation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our team at AmeriCold Logistics. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal services and support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and litigation management, with a focus on real estate, warehousing, and transportation logistics.
- Support the Real Estate Team with preparation and review of real property leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to negotiate services agreements, including scope, pricing, and deliverables.
- Provide rapid, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to operational and corporate internal customers, including compliance with various laws and regulations.
- Manage commercial and property litigation, including direct advocacy for the Company and engagement of outside counsel when necessary.
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited College of Law.
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and litigation management, preferably in a large to medium-sized law firm or in-house.
- Licensed Attorney in at least one state and qualified to practice as in-house counsel in Georgia.
- Strong background in commercial transactions, with demonstrated ability to negotiate and close real estate transactions.
- Solid knowledge and experience with litigation and litigation management, whether in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
- Experience advising all levels of management professionals in mid to large-size companies, preferably public companies.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
