Custodial Technician

Goodwill of North Georgia is actively looking for dedicated Environmental Services Technicians to enhance our team. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.

As an Environmental Services Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility. This includes tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and performing various janitorial duties. You will receive training on the operation of cleaning equipment, including buffers and floor scrubbers. Additionally, you will be tasked with waste disposal and restroom maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities and the capacity to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs. Comfort with prolonged standing and walking, as well as adaptability to different working conditions, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Maintain stamina for extended periods of standing and walking
• Perform bending, reaching, and grasping tasks throughout the workday

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles
