Airport Snow Removal Operator

Avports LLC is seeking a skilled Airport Snow Removal Operator to join our team at Westchester County Airport. As a key member of our snow removal team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating specialized severe duty snow removal equipment to ensure the airport's aprons, taxiways, and runways are clear of snow and ice.

• Operate Osh-Kosh front mounted brooms, plow trucks, snow blowers, runway de-icing equipment, and heavy duty pickup trucks with plows.
• Inspect tools and equipment regularly to ensure safety and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Perform a variety of tasks to maintain airport facilities and grounds, including rotating shifts and overtime during extended snow events.
• Work collaboratively with the HPN Snow Removal Team to ensure coordinated removal of snow and ice from the airport.
• Follow all Airport, Company, TSA, and FAA security and safety regulations.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in equipment operation and maintenance, preferably with 3 years of experience in a related field. A New York State Motor Vehicle Class B driver's license is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee must be able to lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
