Job Title: Middle School Cafeteria Manager

Job Summary

The Middle School Cafeteria Manager will oversee the planning, organization, and supervision of the school cafeteria, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff. This role involves participating in the work of the school cafeteria program, operating automated sales record-keeping equipment, and training and supervising assigned personnel.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise the activities of the school cafeteria
  • Participate in the school cafeteria program
  • Operate automated sales record-keeping equipment
  • Train and supervise assigned personnel

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of increasingly responsible experience in commercial or institutional food service activities with lead experience
  • A Food Handler's Certificate, issued by the County Health Department, to be obtained at the time of appointment and during employment in this class
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of insurance at time of appointment to and during employment in this class
