Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified Communication Therapist to join our team at Olympia School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to assess and address communication skills. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology, with experience working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents. They will be skilled in using assessment instruments, interpreting test data, and developing effective treatment plans. A valid Washington State ESA Certificate, criminal justice fingerprint clearance, and a valid driver's license are required for this position.

Our school district offers a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000. We also offer vacation leave, paid holidays, and additional compensation beyond base salary through our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students' communication skills to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide support and resources for students.
