Position Overview

The role involves performing technical support tasks related to the sterile processing and distribution of medical supplies and equipment essential for patient care. The technician is responsible for maintaining departmental standards regarding quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sterile processing and distribution duties within the Central Processing Department.
  • Adhere to established Customer Service Standards.
  • Support and promote patient safety and other relevant safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field is mandatory.
  • Certifications: Valid certification from CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM) is essential.
  • Skills: Proficiency in decontamination, preparation and packaging, sterilization, case cart management, and sterile storage is required.
Profile Requirements
  • Documented work history.
  • Current skills checklist, relevant to the specialty, updated within the last year.
  • Two supervisory references with employment dates.
  • Note any eligibility issues for working in the USA on the profile.
  • All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
Certification Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • HSPA (IAHCSMM) Certification
Work Schedule

No weekend shifts required.

On-Call Duties

No on-call responsibilities.
