Job SummaryWe are seeking a certified Physician Assistant to join our gastroenterology department. As a key member of our team, you will work under the clinical supervision of a supervising physician to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel diseases and metabolic liver diseases
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education and support in areas of specialization
- Work collaboratively with a diverse group of gastroenterologists and physician assistants to provide high-quality care
- Graduate of a nationally accredited, Masters-level Physician Assistant program
- National certification as a Physician Assistant
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, rheumatology, or oncology
