Tree Climber Job Description

At Monster Tree Service, we're passionate about providing exceptional tree care services to our customers. We're seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team in Rockland and Westchester Counties.

Responsibilities:
  • Climb, prune, and remove trees on residential and commercial properties.
  • Maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
  • Work as part of a crew, supporting the Crew Foreman.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with climbing, rope, and saddle systems, as well as knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
  • Experience with Aerial Lifts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ANSI standards.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and a CDL is preferred.
  • Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers.
  • Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valued.
