Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with various surgical and cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring their health, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and administering medications and treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to the next level of care.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date patient records, accurately documenting patient information and progress.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One-year of current acute care RN experience, with consideration given to licensed military RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting and handling of patients. The ideal candidate will have corrected vision and hearing, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours.
