Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive a box truck to deliver products and materials between various locations.
  • Ensure punctual and precise deliveries while maintaining effective communication with both company and client representatives.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall safety to comply with transportation regulations.
  • Follow designated routes efficiently while observing all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents encountered during transit.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely and professional interactions.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Monday - Friday (Flexible Scheduling)
  • Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Previous experience operating a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred.
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting over 60 pounds, and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with local routes and geography.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Key Duties:

  • Safely operate a box truck for the transportation of goods.
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and road conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service through accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
