Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective operation and upkeep of various machinery and equipment within the facility. This role involves conducting inspections, diagnostics, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery, tooling, and other facility-related equipment as necessary. The technician will ensure that all equipment is maintained in a safe and functional state, adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, the technician will regularly engage in the following activities:


  1. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to assess equipment conditions.
  2. Interpret and apply manufacturer guidelines for maintenance and lubrication.
  3. Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs on all machinery.
  4. Exhibit knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  5. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, following all safety protocols.
  6. Complete necessary documentation for maintenance activities and inspections.
  7. Understand and apply quality control measures to meet operational specifications.
  8. Operate overhead cranes and other maintenance machinery effectively.
  9. Demonstrate familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and electro-mechanical systems.
  10. Adhere to company quality and housekeeping standards.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  1. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  2. Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a productive work environment.
  3. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
  4. Utilize computerized systems and technology effectively in daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Proven ability to build and motivate teams.
  2. Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  3. Capability to facilitate group discussions and meetings.
  4. Self-driven and motivated individual.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Proficiency in machine operation or a willingness to learn.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
